DESTINATION WEDDING WIN right here peeps! Kim and Howie live in Colorado Springs and wanted a photographer for their wedding but the Vegas ones were not exactly what they were looking for so they choose me and flew me to Vegas. Caleb came with me and we made a “vacation” out of it and the first two days then worked on Sunday (he took some pics and yes a hand full of them did turn out salvageable lol)! Kim and Howie have been together for quite some time but decided to make it official in a city that they visit often. LAS VEGAS!!!!

The Wedding was at Wedgewood in Las Vegas. It is only a few miles away from the action of the infamous Las Vegas Strip. Yet, the surrounding mountain and golf course landscape provides an enchanting setting that feels far away from it all. Experience what it feels like to hit the wedding jackpot at this oasis in the desert! The staff there was incredible and was super great to work with.

Kim had Erica from Stevee Danielle Salon come to the Mandalay Bay to do her and Jem (her Maid of Honor) hair and makeup early the morning of the wedding. She was so sweet and the final product was spectacular. You will see for yourself in the photos 😉

Kim got her dress from Brittiant Bridal in Denver, CO, and the dress was to die for and fit her so beautifully.

Kim went above and beyond with all the little extras for the wedding- I LOVE capturing all the little details that go into each wedding I shoot. Brides are so creative and put so much thought and love into these things so I try to make sure I get as many pictures of all the “goodies” as I can.

I enjoyed the trip and getting to know my clients a little more than usual. Because I was there for their wedding I didn’t have to rush off to be anywhere or get home and it made the experience so great!
