It was a recent snowy Colorado day when I went to photograph a 60th birthday party in Parker. Bill, the birthday boy, is the father of one of my grooms (David) who is getting married this summer. David and his wife-to-be, Victoria, had flown in for a brief 36-hour period to celebrate the birthday with family. Taking advantage of a small 30-minute window, the two love birds and I sneaked off for a little impromptu engagement shoot in the snow!
These two are just the cutest and I am already SO looking forward to photographing their California wedding in a few months. The snow made an absolutely perfect paradoxical setting for their engagement shoot versus their upcoming late-May vineyard wedding in San Luis Obispo, CA. I just LOVE the love in their eyes for each other and the warmth they shared between the two of them. It practically had me thinking, “what snow?”
It was my pleasure to share this brief but oh-so-awesome moment with this stunning couple. This summer when we are together for their nuptials, I will be thinking about this beautifully chilly day together.
I’ll be there for you,
