My job is always pretty awesome, but sometimes I get to be a part of something so incredibly amazing that it just blows my mind! This home birth experience was so inspiring and rewarding! Eric and Lindsay are so sweet, and I loved watching them lean on each other through the whole process!
Lindsay is such a strong woman. Look at her go! Some would assume that the most raw, vulnerable, and sweet part of this would be the baby, but I have to say I think it’s this hard-working mama! All birth is hard, and home birth is no exception. And the very moment their baby was born was completely breathtaking. It’s such a rate sight!
Their sweet baby boy Isaac was born around 3:45 in the morning.
I don’t usually do birth photography because it’s a LOT of work, and very unpredictable. You never know what will happen, how the birth will go, or how long you’ll be there. I arrived around 9pm and didn’t leave for home until around 5:30 am! But I HAD to make an exception for my friends, and I’m so glad I did!
Enjoy these photos of the beautiful home birth of Isaac! Welcome to the world, little man!
