My twins just turned six years old! These little cuties have been obsessed with the water, and I wanted to make sure their birthday was extra special. A mermaid birthday party was the way to go! We had their birthday party at Mermaid Cove in Colorado Springs!

They made everything so much easier on me, a DIY Pinterest-obsessed mom when it comes to parties. They had a personalized pirate captain that helped keep everyone happy and kept the party going smoothly. The only thing I brought was favors- other than that, they provided pizza for the kids (we bought extra for the adults), cakes, all the decorations, a mermaid, who was in the pool and interacted with the kids THE WHOLE TIME, and tons of other details I look for at parties! The atmosphere was awesome and was so cute. It was perfect for a mermaid birthday party!

Oh, how they grow so fast…I can’t believe that these kids are 6! It feels like yesterday we were celebrating my sister Allie’s 18th birthday at Mimi’s Cafe, where I was unaware that I would bring these kids into the world a few short hours later!
