There’s a new addition to the Hundred Acre Wood! This tubby little cubby isn’t stuffed with fluff, though. Meet Gavin, the little Pooh Bear who melted my heart during his Pooh Bear newborn photos!

Baby Gavin was very cuddly with his other pals during his Pooh Bear newborn photos! Piglet, Eeyore, and Tigger kept him company the whole time, and Gavin loved holding them close! I love using these little felt animals in my newborn photos, especially my themed newborn sessions, because babies LOVE to hold them close! It makes for the cutest pictures, and for very happy newborns!

Look how cute this willy, nilly, silly bear is with his wide open eyes! It’s hard to believe he was only three weeks old when I did this session with him.

One really cool part of being a newborn photographer is that in order to get photos of those brand new babies, I sometimes need to travel to see them! That’s right, these Pooh Bear newborn photos weren’t done in my Colorado Springs studio… in fact, they weren’t done in Colorado at all! I flew all the way to California to take these photos of Gavin! This little cutie was worth the long plane ride, for sure! I love traveling to get these shots, and I hope I’ll have the chance to do it even more.

Little Gavin is so content in his pot of “hunny,” just like Pooh Bear! Look at that precious smile! I’m so glad we got this moment, because now his mom and dad can cherish this forever. The enchanted neighborhood in the Hundred Acre Wood is lucky to have this new little Pooh Bear, and so are his proud mama and daddy! I can’t wait to see how this little one grows!
